Why Support Fishin' For the Cure? 

In the last 40 years, children’s cancer researchers have increased the overall survival rate for children’s cancer from 10 percent to 78 percent. Still, cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children. Less than 4% of Federal funding goes towards pediatric cancer. Without private research funding from groups like ourselves, better treatments, nor a cure, will be found.  We have more than 95% of funds received going to support research, childhood cancer families and other program-related activities. Your donation will help us reach the day when every child is guaranteed a cure.   If you would like to donate goods or services, or perhaps volunteer, please contact us at info@fishinforthecure.com.   Fishin' For The Cure exists for one reason, to help find a cure for cancer. We contribute all donations directly to cancer research and towards aiding local children that are fighting cancer. We encourage everyone to participate in our annual fishing tournament.
